Mom is volunteering in the library today!
Wearin' her badge, workin' on documents...
...visiting with Hannah when her class came in for database reminders...
...and enjoying that well-earned coffee break with her LIBRARY VOLUNTEER mug!!
We have the best-lookin' volunteer in all of TEXAS!!!

You both must be in Heaven. Glad you're getting to share that. I equate your love of a library to me being left alone in a Home Depot. I could use, nay, take home any tool I want and fall asleep with it on my chest.
Looks like you worked your Mom hard. She should have come to our library and snuggled up with a kindergartner from Nepal. By the way, how is her Nepalese?
Awesome! If she decides to visit Florida, she can volunteer at my library anytime!
I'm nominating you for an award. Check it out here:

What fun!
Russ: Kirsten says falling asleep with a chainsaw on your chest is not nearly as much fun as falling asleep with a good book...not to mention the whole missing-digit danger!
Denise: My mom will volunteer for you if she moves here. She loves the little ones, and I'm a tough taskmaster. (Plus, she doesn't need to speak Nepalese because she speaks the international language of "Grandma!" LOL)
Heather: Whee! I've been Splashed! Thanks you so much...we sure miss you in Texas, btw.
Russ, it was fun getting to be in the school where Hannah and Molly are students. Kristy and Kirsten made sure that it was a very enjoyable experience. Kristy treated me to Schlotzky's sandwiches for lunch on Wednesday, and Kirsten treated me to taco salad from the school cafeteria on Thursday. Then they cooked up some coffee mid-afternoon for a little waker-upper, which complemented the cafeteria's bread pudding perfectly. They made work FUN! Madison Middle School is lucky to have them. Maybe someday I will have the pleasure of volunteering in James Russell's school--or in your Home Depot. :>)
