It has been my privilege to present you to the world, and the world to you, my darling firstborn!
I AM blessed, and I thank our Father in Heaven for the honor of being your mother.
Now, with that having being said, go take your vitamins and get some much needed sleep! Or, as you once told me when you were not yet two years old, while you were play-acting at home after having been recently hospitalized for pneumonia, using my kitchen tongs as your stethoscope, "Hold you[r] nose and drink you[r] juice!" (I deduced that it was what the pediatric nurses had told you as they were medicating you, though I could not be sure since I was not allowed to visit the pediatric ward from the obstetrical ward, where the newly-born Karen and I were patients.)

Love always and forever,
Mom
Sweet, sweet picture....I love my girls, all of 'em. Both of these are moms, now, and have made investments of work and love beyond human counting.
Thank you, Kris, for this beautiful picture, and your love.
Dad
GREAT photo! It took me a second to recognize Momma, as I saw Karen, Kristy and Mom all in one person.
