It's the little things...books and chai and soft pajamas...
November 28, 2007 . . . Hate to admit it, but I'm with Bethany! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Love & Prayers sent your way, Kimberly M.
Bessie Lou, love her. I love, love Bessie Lou. Growing up, hate it. I hate that Bessie doesn't fit in a shopping cart and call me "her Eric" anymore. But then again, she's grown into one fine Texan!-Proud uncle
I think my feelings for turkey can best be described by the lyrics of The Thanksgiving Song by Adam Sandler. "Love to eat turkey, LOVE to eat TURKEY! Turkey for me and turkey for you, I like to eat turkey in a big brown shoe. Turkey lurkey dee and turkey lurkey dap, I eat the turkey and I take a nap..." "SUPERSTAR!!!"
I remember that pretty little "Ariel" cuddling up on the sofa beside her "Eric" and patting his leg with her little pudgy, dimpled hand. What a cherub! So adorable! That same beautiful little girl would say to her uncle, "You be Elvis, and I'll be 'Cilla." And then, when that little angel thought she was in trouble with her mother, she would say, "I---want---to---HUG---that Mommy!" I---want---to---HUG---that---granddaughter!
You are Beth-an-eeYou are who you are.You do not like pumkin pie.Unlike I.I'll eat your pieSo you will not die.You do not like cornbread.Cornbread will make you dead. You have cornbread dread.Enough has been said. But then you love the turk. That will work. Loving the turk. The turk lost his head. He had been a jerk. But how do you love cranberr-ee?Or the Christmas tree?Holidays are here, you see...With pie and bread, and turk to please.Open your mouth, and hold your nose...take a bite of all you see.Beth-an-ee.Then you will be huge...like me.Grandpa
Who knew that Grandpa and Adam Sandler were so much alike? ;-) Funny, Dad!And why is my earlier post up there twice? I'm technologically challenged. Hope the duplicate gets erased.
