Austin!

I'm in Austin for the Tech Conference...and it's so fun!

Presenters taught us tricks in PowerPoint (bookmarks! action buttons!) and Google searching (go to the Advanced Search page every time to set those domain names and file types)...plus, Erin Gruwell of The Freedom Writers was our Opening Session speaker!! (Everybody needed tissues.)

Oh, and ten years after Trey Forkerway told me how great P.F. Chang's is, I finally got to eat there when we celebrated The Boss's 50th birthday.

Tonight, the girls and I are going to an '80s Power Ballad sing-along...with a Worst Love Story contest right before. (Tomorrow night will be the second sinking of The Titanic as the Austin comedians "make sport" of this cinematic behemoth.)
Friday or Saturday we're going to hit the outlets as we try to find cool pants...

You are having way too much fun. You are supposed to learn something! So, use those braincells for information, not food places and shopping binges :-)
Had a fun evening myself going out with the "other girls" and seeing the movie "The Illusionist"! You missed a good one! And at the Paramount no less...ahhh, life is so good in Abilene with 2 degrees Celsius, and not much improvement tomorrow, then rain when you come back and 50 by Monday, then 30 again on Tuesday...ahhh,let's see if we can believe the weather report this weekend :-)

Sounds like you're having a blast at the Tech Conference! Hope you found some great deals at the Outlet stores. If not...head over this way for Spring Break--there's a giant Outlet Center about 20 minutes away! :)
