And my not-so-wordless comment...this week, parents across the world grieved as they heard the news out of Blacksburg. That serene, beautiful campus...those young innocent kids...it's just heartbreaking.
And it made me think of my favorite college drop-out and how much I love her. Here she is the day she moved into Texas Tech's Hulen Hall.
Bethany & I (both "CNN girls," as she puts it) have both cried this week and said silent prayers, asking God to help comfort the survivors. She watched CNN's coverage in a hotel room on an overnight layover and cried harder than she has in years...
I wondered if this picture was taken during a move-in or move-out of a dorm room! How appropriate as we all mourn the loss of lives this week. You hardly look old enough to be her mom..... :)
Two of my favorite people. I love y'all so much, and personally, I'm glad Bessie's not at Tech anymore. She's safer in the air.
