I love that photo! Clear, b&w, though distorted with motion, and great expressions of terror. It looks like a clip from a movie, perhaps a Japanese monster film. Your faces while turning make me think Godzilla just stepped from behind the building behind you and is trampling cars and walking toward you.
I remember that day! Was that picture at the candy store in York, Maine, where we stared for hours in bedraggled, snaggletoothed wonder at the taffy-pulling machine?
Those cat-glasses put the "owww" in "Mee-owww!" Such lovely children. ;-)
I REMEMBER THESE DAYS!(YEARS!) :) Do you remember playing with the Barbie camper and wearing the Oreo cookie necklace?? Do you remember Mr. Brown and his fiddle?? LOL OK... I'm gonna have to raid my mother's photo albums!! I am sure I will come up with SOMETHING FUN! :)
This is Jesse (commenter from Joe's blog) Thank you SO very much for your sweet words. Being in a military family is truly a blessing. Having support from people like you is wonderful. Thank you for caring and for suggesting ways to help. We all could use some during these trying times that is for sure! God Bless and thanks again.
